Motorola brings the $179 Moto E to Australia

Moto E, Motorola's $179 smartphone, will be available through retail stores from early July, the manufacturer announced. The Moto E features a 4.3" 256ppi display, two SIM slots, a 1.4 GHZ dual core CPU Snapdragon processor, a 5 megapixel camera and runs stock Android 4.4.

The smartphone comes with 4 gigabytes of internal storage, which is expandable with a MicroSD card slot. Motorola claims the Moto E's battery can last for up to 24 hours with mixed usage.

In addition, a 4G model of the Moto G will also be available from early July for $299.
