Mobile Remote App For Fetchtv
- IPTV controlled by handset
- App is free to download
- Record remotely
National broadband company Internode has launched iPhone and Android apps that let fetchtv subscribers control the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) set-top box with their phone handset.
The fetchtv remote apps – which can be downloaded for free from Apple’s AppStore or the Android Market – let fetchtv subscribers identify and record movies and TV shows while they’re away from the house. They can also use their mobile phone as a remote control when they’re at home. It is possible to browse fetchtv content, choose movies and set recordings without interrupting what’s being watched on TV.
Using the app, both subscribers and non-customers can browse fetchtv’s on-demand movie catalogue and watch trailers on their phones.
