It has been only a few months since the iPhone 5S has hit the shelves and yet it appears the Cupertino company is already prepping the next generation handsets that is expected to be announced next year.
According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple will again reveal two new iPhone models next year. But unlike previous releases, the two new handsets will be competing in the phablet segment with screen sizes of 4.7 and 5.5 inches.
The report also adds that the new devices will have displays whose glass curves downward at the edges. There is also news that Apple is currently working on displays with enhanced pressure sensitivity that can distinguish between heavy or light touches, although the feature might not come into play within the next two years.
In other news, Chinese manufacturer Oppo will be offering a special edition N1 that will come with CyanogenMod out of the box. The handset will be available next month and will be priced the same as a regular N1.
The device will come in a unique CyanogenMod-branded box with a special case for other CM accessories. CyanogenMod will also provide support for those who will purchase a regular N1, so users can easily flash their handsets with the ROM out of the box.
