Today on Mobile Mondays, it’s all about Samsung as the company has made several announcements over the past few weeks and made even bigger news as a number of rumours have spread all over the internet about its newest devices.
First one up is the company’s announcement of an event that it will hold on June 20 in London. The event will reportedly see the announcement of not only Galaxy devices but also Ativ ones as well. The company has provided a teaser image to the press showing three close-ups of possibly the items to be showcased in the event.
Next on the list is the Galaxy S4 Active whose photos leaked two weeks ago and is now making an official comeback through another leaked image courtesy of evleaks. This time the leaked photo is an AT&T version of the device which gives more details about how the device looks like. There’s also a date stamped on the screen of the device which leads people to believe that the phone might debut on June 21, which is a day after the Samsung event in London.
Last but definitely not the least is news about another Galaxy S4 variant, the Galaxy S4 Zoom. A small bit of information was published on the internet coming from FCC that shows information about the device’s network capabilities or surprisingly its lack of LTE as it will only support the GSM/EDGE/WCDMA 850 and 1900 bands.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom is rumoured to have a 16MP camera at the back with a 10x optical zoom. Other features include a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz chipset, 8GB of storage expandable via a microSD card slot and Android Jelly Bean.
