It’s Monday again and just before we continue our manic day, let us give you some updates on the mobile phone world with the latest events, leaks and announcement from the different phone makers and tipsters from all over the web.

First on the list is the HTC Desire 200. The phone was leaked ahead of its launch through a YouTube video probably of Vietnamese origin based on the SIM card shown on the video. The phone will reportedly have a 3.5-inch screen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels, a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage with microSD card slot and a 1400mAh battery.

The device is shown on the video running Android 4.0.3 but it’s expected to be running Android Jelly Bean when it is launched.

Another device whose image leaked last week was the rumoured Nokia EOS. The Nokia EOS will reportedly be the Windows Phone equivalent of the company’s Pureview 808 handset and will sport the same 41-MP camera.

Unlike other Lumias that have a polycarbonate body, the Nokia EOS has been seen to have a metallic body with a massive protruding section at the back that holds the large camera sensor. Moreover, the Nokia EOS will have a mechanical shutter complemented by a Carl Zeiss Lens, Xenon flash and LED light.

Nokia is expected to officially announce the EOS on its July 11 event in London which is coincidentally entitled “Zoom Reinvented”.

And finally, our last news bite for this Monday comes from Samsung and its upcoming Galaxy Note III. Last week, a camera sample of the alleged Samsung phablet leaked online which confirmed the camera sensor on the device.

The image was uploaded to a Picasa album and has a resolution of 2322 x 4128 pixels, which is what a 13MP camera produces in 16:9 mode. Moreover, the EXIF info (Exchangeable image format – a standard that specifies the formats for images, sounds and ancillary tags used by digital cameras, smartphones and other imaging systems) also confirms that the Galaxy Note III will have the same F/2.2 aperture and 31mm lens as the Galaxy S4.
