Sources have confirmed that Microsoft Office is landing on the iPhone, iPad and Android by next year.
Office for mobile devices is really out there and will be available on Android and iOS in early 2013.

Sources have confirmed that Microsoft Office is landing on the iPhone, iPad and Android by next year.
Office for mobile devices is really out there and will be available on Android and iOS in early 2013.
A mobile version of Office has previously been spotted running on the iPad, but Microsoft refused to confirm or deny its existence.
According to reports, Office Mobile will be free for both iOS and Android. It'll be compatible with Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents, and if you subscribe to Office 365, you'll be able to edit them too. However, this will only cover the basics.
The iOS version will also be the first one out in late February or early March, while Office for Android will be coming in a little later around May.
"Office will work across Windows Phone, iOS and Android," said a Microsoft spokesperson.
