Microsoft are finally catching up with the times in a new move that gives Hotmail users a feature that both Yahoo! and Google threw into their free email services a while ago.

Users of the Hotmail service can now collect their Hotmail-mail through any email application under the sun as they now support POP3.

Free your browser from the grips of Hotmail people! Free it and move to Thunderbird… or Outlook… or Mail… or whatever it is you want to use!
