Microsoft Launch OneApp Store For Non-Smartphones

Microsoft is launching OneApp software for people without smartphones

In an attempt to siphon into a market that has been virtually untapped by most of the big players in the mobile market, Microsoft has announced the arrival of its OneApp software, designed specifically for regular mobile phone users.

This software will allow users to dowload some applications that have only been available via smartphones, and includes such popular apps as Facebook, Windows Live and Twitter.
Due to the limited amount of space available on your average mobile, OneApp allows some of the information to be stored on central servers, but users will have access when they need to use the application.

Microsoft has stated that it was initially rolled out to developing countries where smartphones have yet to be fully utilised. However, there is still a need in developed countries for such software, and Microsoft are hoping to capture a share of that market.
