Mad Catz’s M.O.J.O To Go On Sale This December

Initially unveiled at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, the MOJO is Mad Catz first venture into the gaming console market. Today the company announced that the Android-powered gaming machine will go on sale this December 10th for around $250. The MOJO is an Android-based gaming console that sports a Tegra 4 CPU and runs on Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean.

The MOJO is an Android-based gaming console that sports a Tegra 4 CPU and runs on Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean. It will be equipped with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, which can be expanded via a micro SD card, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n.

It will also have a USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports as well as an HDMI out for 1080p displays, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an Ethernet port. The MOJO will ship with the CTRLR controller, which can also be used as a standalone with supported Android phones.

The gaming console will be compatible with Nvidia’s Tegra Zone, Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore games, and will come preloaded with Nvidia’s and Google’s dedicated gaming portals.
