Apple looks like it is definitely set to unveil a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display in its press event on 23 October, after photos of the new super slim device have been leaked.

Apple looks like it is definitely set to unveil a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display in its press event on 23 October, after photos of the new super slim device have been leaked.

The pictures show a corner of a really thin device, as well as the 8GB of RAM that the laptop will pack under the hood.

In terms of connectivity, the new MacBook Pro will sport two Thunderbolt slots, HDMI, two USB ports and an SD reader. 

The screen is at 2560×1600 and price point is pegged at US$1,699, $500 more than the current 13-inch MacBook Pro.

There is also a snapshot of its display, which shows the machine running Windows 7.
