Little speakers with a big sound

The JBL Cinema 500 speaker system is a complete 5.1 home theatre package that is designed to pack power and clarity.

Two PolyPlas cones and a Titanium-laminate tweeter are employed in each of the main, centre and surround channel speakers, and all feature 100-watt power handling coupled with high sensitivity for easy partnering with a wide range of Audio-Visual receivers.

The Cinema 500 also features a 150-watt powered subwoofer with a reinforced, long-throw 200mm (8 inch) woofer. The down-firing design of the driver enables the subwoofer to interact with the floor rather than nearby walls for easy placement and more even bass response, no matter which seat of the house you choose to enjoy the action.

Each satellite and centre speaker in the Cinema 500 system can be placed on a shelf or table using the supplied mounts, or if you prefer the convenience of wall mounting, the speakers come with in-built rear keyholes.

Alternatively, optional matching ‘Cinema Stand’ floor stands, with cable management, are available for the main and surround speakers should you wish them to be free standing. All wires and connecting cables are included in the box, including EA-colour-coded speaker wires to simplify set up.

The JBL Cinema 500 is available now from most Harvey Norman, Domayne, Clive Peeters and Rick Hart stores with a RRP of $1259.
