The price is well over the $500,000 that Usher was hoping to achieve. The UK born Usher says he got the idea to put his life for sale on eBay after he broke up with his ex wife Laura. Brokenhearted, Usher simply wants to move on…
“The separation from my wife was the initial trigger for what I’m doing, especially living in the house that was built for the both of us and being surrounded by our furniture,” Mr Usher said.
“It’s part of the moving on process. I guess this is the last step before making a fresh start.”
The winning bidder will receive all Usher’s possessions, introductions to his circle of friends and they can even take over his job…
It remains to be seen how many of the bids are actually legitimate…

Addendum: Since publishing this article many bogus bids for Usher’s life have been withdrawn – currently Usher’s house, car, motorbike, jet ski, home contents and life paraphernalia have received bids up to $300,100.
