LG’s top tier Optimus G Pro smartphone will reportedly get Android 4.4 KitKat update by Q2 2014. The news comes from LG India’s Twitter account when it answered a direct message from a LG customer.

The Korean company hasn’t provided an official press statement yet, but if we are to believe LG’s official Twitter account, the update should arrive to consumers by the end of June. The update is expected to bring much of Google’s improvements to LG smartphones plus some goodies from LG through the company’s Optimus UI.

Other LG smartphones will also be getting Android KitKat within the year while its flagship phone the LG G2 will get the update by March.
