LG G2 Mini Unexpectedly Goes Official

According to LG’s official Facebook page, the announcement of the LG G2 Mini was still a few days to go, but a minor slip-up by the company’s Dutch office has unexpectedly revealed specs of the upcoming miniature smartphone.

The G2 Mini will come in two versions. One will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip while the other will have an Nvidia Tegra 4i chipset. Both models will have a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch qHD display, an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 8GB of on-board storage (expandable via microSD card), a 2440mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with LG’s Optimus UI on top.

LG is also providing users with an LTE option as well as a dual-SIM version. The LG G2 Mini will start shipping in March initially in Russia, with the Middle East, Latin America, Asia and Europe to follow a month later. It will also be offered in different colour options including black, white, red and champagne.
