LG Electronics Australia today announced its entry into the Australian consumer PC market with the introduction of two new Hybrid PC machines – the Z160 and the H160 Tab-Book, and the Z360 Ultrabook.

LG Electronics Australia today announced its entry into the Australian consumer PC market with the introduction of two new Hybrid PC machines – the Z160 and the H160 Tab-Book, and the Z360 Ultrabook.

The LG Tab-Book range features a precise 5-point multi-touch screen that pops up to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard for instant typing action. Users simply need to push the “one touch” auto sliding mechanism in the Tab-Book to quickly and smoothly switch between tablet and notebook configurations.

The Tab-Book range also sport LG’s IPS display which delivers a premium picture with true to life colour expression and great picture quality. Furthermore, the Tab-Book’s 11.6-inch display offers wide viewing angles up to 178-degrees to further enhance the user experience.

The range will also come with USB and HDMI ports for ease in connectivity and, run on Windows 8 operating system and will be powered by an Intel Core i5 processor for the Z160 model or an Intel Atom processor for the H160 version.

Another newly introduced product from LG is the award winning Z360 Ultrabook that boasts a white finish and a slender form that is complemented by a set of advanced features. The Ultrabook is only 13.6mm thin and weighs in at 1.15kg.

The Z360 sports a 13.3-inch Full HD screen and a third generation Intel Core processor which allows the device to provide crisp, clear images and raw computing power. Just like the Tab-Book, the Z360 also has an IPS display that provides the same 178-degree viewing angle. Other notable features of the Z360 Ultrabook include a SATA 3 Sold state drive (SSD) and Intel’s WiDi technology that enables the device to mirror content to other compatible devices in Full HD.
