LG has just unveiled a new handset in Korea. The new phablet called the LG GX sports a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset.
Although sporting a different name, the LG GX is essentially an updated version of the LG G Pro which was announced earlier this year. The phablet features a 13MP camera at the back, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage and a 3140mAh battery. It measures 150.6 x 76.1 x 9.2mm and weighs 167 grams.
The LG GX will run on Android Jelly Bean and will come with a number of LG’s latest UX interface including the “knock on” feature and the company’s Q-apps. There is no word yet on pricing and international availability but we’ll update our website once2 we get an official word from LG.
