Is the Huawei Watch another $1000 wearable?

Chinese manufacturer Huawei may have accidentally revealed the price of the Huawei Watch, its slick new wearable. While the company didn't disclose pricing when it announced the smartwatch at Mobile World Congress, a listing on Amazon.de – posted by Huawei itself – has the price tag set at 999 euro (approximately AUD$1409) for all three models.

Amazon.de is letting customers pre-order the Huawei Watch, but currently says that the item is not yet available, and that it will be shipped as soon as it is stock. As such, it is possible that the price tag is simply a placeholder value.
