The arrival of the next-generation iPhone may just be around the corner as reports indicate that Apple’s September 10 event will be all about the new iPhone. But even before the event, there are already rumours about two other Apple devices – the next-generation iPad and iPad Mini.
According to Bloomberg, the next generation iPad and iPad Mini will be unveiled sometime in October, with both tablets getting an upgrade in terms of design and display respectively. To be more specific, the iPad 5 will reportedly have a thinner and lighter body and will resemble the iPad Mini.
On the other hand, the iPad Mini is said to now have the same Retina display found in other members of the Apple line-up. These ties up with earlier reports from the Wall Street Journal that Apple might finally give its 7-incher the Retina treatment in response to Google’s Full HD screen on the Nexus 7 II.
There’s no additional information yet with regards to full specifications of both tablets, but once more information comes in, we’ll let you in the loop.
