iOS 9.1 now available, adds 150 emojis, Apple News for Australians

Apple today released iOS 9.1, the first major update to its mobile operating system since iOS 9 went live in September. iOS 9.1 adds support for over 150 new emojis, including a burrito, taco, champagne, and popcorn, and enables Apple News for Australian iPhone and iPad owners.

Apple News is Apple's take on a Flipboard-esque news curation app. Australian publications including Sydney Morning Herald, News.com.au, ABC and SBS News are sharing stories through the free app alongside international sources such as CNN, Wired, and The Verge.

iPhone and iPad owners can update to iOS 9.1 by opening the "Settings" app, tapping on "General", and then selecting "Software Update". The update is approximately a 250MB download.
