Instagram Branches Out To Video – With A Catch

Instragram, the popular picture-sharing social networking site is expanding to include the ability to upload videos to your personal account.

Instragram, the popular picture-sharing social networking site is expanding to include the ability to upload videos to your personal account.

However, they are limiting the size of the video by 15 seconds, so users’ editing skills will have to come into play. Instagram also says that  people will be about to “make [the video] beautiful with one of 13 new filters built specifically for video, and choose their cover frame to select their favourite scene to appear in their feed.”

They have also introduced Cinema, a technology developed by imaging scientists that turns your shaky mobile shoots into more sturdy clips. Video on Instagram is available for all iOS and modern Android devices, and is available in Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
