The HTC Desire 310 is the company’s first smartphone powered by a MediaTek chip. At the heart of the chip is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 512MB of RAM. It also sports a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card), a 5MP+VGA camera combo and a 2000mAh battery.

Connectivity-wise, the Desire 310 should pack at the very least 3G connectivity, along with the usual smartphone essentials such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. In terms of software, the smartphone will get Android 4.2.2 out-of-the-box with Sense UI on top and with Blinkfeed installed (base on the listed image of the device).

The HTC Desire 310 has already appeared on HTC’s European website but details about its price and its availability have not been confirmed yet.
