After the announcement of the Desire 816 and Desire 610 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last week, HTC’s Desire 310 which was first seen back in January at the company’s European website has now gone official.

The Desire 310 which is a direct competitor of the Motorola Moto G for the entry-level market will be available starting April 10 for €160. It features a 4.5-inch display (480 x 854 pixels), a 5MP camera at the back, expandable storage and will be offered as a dual-SIM device as well.

The phone will initially be available in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. On a side note, the Android KitKat update for the HTC One got suspended in UK following reports that the update caused shortened battery life in some users as well as other unspecified problems.

There’s no definite turnaround time on when the problems will be fixed and when the update will be resumed.
