HTC has some good news for HTC One owners. HTC America’s President Jason Mackenzie today tweeted that the latest version of Sense and Android 4.3 will soon arrive to HTC One Dev Edition owners this week while customers in Canada will get it by the end of the month.

There have also been reports that users in Taiwan are already receiving the Android 4.3 OTA notification. There is no official announcement yet on when other markets will receive the update but it will only be a matter of time before the update reach Australian users.

There are also rumours that the Taiwanese manufacturer will be updating the HTC One with an octa-core processor as well as adding Clear Audio technology to the One’s specs sheet. However, this news is quite unlikely as an octa-core update may be a bit too late and it would be more rational for HTC to give the octa-core chip to its next flagship smartphone.

Meanwhile, the company is also having some supply chain problems with another device – the HTC One Mini. According to reports, there is a shortage in the casing of the smartphone, which will most likely affect the company’s ability to meet consumer demand.

HTC reportedly will only ship around 200,000 HTC One Mini units each month, which is less than ideal for the company. And unless the company can fix this issue, there’s a fat chance that it HTC will suffer from losses, which to some people is something the company cannot afford.
