HP gets back into smartphones with Windows Mobile flagship

HP is getting back into the smartphone game with the Windows 10 Mobile-powered Elite x3, its first flagship handset since 2011's ill-fated Pre 3. While the all-new 6-inch Windows phone is predominantly designed for corporate and enterprise customers, it has a few interesting features that set it apart from other devices on the market.

The Elite x3 is all about Continuum, technology that allows a smartphone to transform into a desktop-like PC when connected to a monitor. Microsoft's Lumia 950 flagships are both capable of this, but HP has taken the feature to the next level with what it calls the Mobile Extender.
