How to get Apple Music for Sonos speakers

As of today, Apple Music for Sonos is available as a public beta for owners of the company's range of wireless multi-room speakers. While the integration isn't quite feature complete, it already gives Apple Music subscribers access to the majority of the service's features via the Sonos controller app, including Beats 1, radio stations, and "for you". Sonos expects to ditch the "beta" tag by early 2016.

Sonos speaker owners can add Apple Music to their ecosystem by following the below steps:

1.        Open the Sonos app
2.        Tap "Settings" then "Advanced Settings"
3.        Tap "Beta Program"
4.        Tap "Join the Beta Program"
5.        Update your Sonos system (this update may take up to 15 minutes to appear)
6.        Add Apple Music from the "Add Music Services" menu

Apple Music joins the long list of music streaming services supported by the Sonos controller app, including Spotify, Tidal, Bandcamp, Google Play Music and Deezer. As with the vast majority of multi-room setups, Sonos requires users to choose songs within its own applications, rather than within the streaming app of choice.

The Sonos controller app is available for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.
