Facebook has shut down a group that incites hate crimes by celebrating the massacre of 8000 Muslims in Srebrenica.

Facebook has shut down a group that incites hate crimes – by celebrating the massacre of 8000 Muslims in Srebrenica.

The group called the Noz Zica Srebrenica (The Knife The Wire Srebrenica), encouraged the detention of Muslims and celebrated the killing of men and boys that took place at Sebrenica in 1995 by Bosnian Serb forces commanded by Ratko Mladic.

Another group popped up on Facebook protesting the Noz Zica Srebrenica and calling for Facebook to close it down – the group had 30, 000 plus members by week’s end.

After investigating the allegations against the group – Facebook removed the Noz Zica Srebrenica group as it violated Facebook’s terms and conditions.
