For the past five years, it has been an annual tradition in Google to give its users a good prank on April Fools’ Day. This year the search giant is giving users a chance to fulfil their childhood fantasy of becoming a Pokémon master with Google Maps.
Beginning today until 2AM PT tomorrow, Google Maps will incorporate a Pokémon challenge which will require users to discover and capture Pokémon scattered in different places on Google Maps. The challenge requires the latest version of Google Maps installed on the device and users simply hit the search bar and select press start.
