We’ve previously heard of Google’s tie-up with Italian eyewear manufacturer Luxottica to bring more fashion sense into its smart heads-up display, but it looks like the search giant has secretly teamed up with other luxury fashion brands for Google Glass.

Today, the company announced a special edition of Google Glass designed by Diane von Fürstenberg. The DVF collection of Glass options includes five new frames and eight new shades for the style-conscious but tech-savvy supporters of wearable tech.

The collection will be available to Glass Explorers in the US from June 23rd either by purchasing them via Google’s online store or from Net-a-porter. There’s no word on how much these glasses would cost, but it’s almost a sure bet that they’ll be more expensive than the regular Google Glass which retailed for around US$1500 when it went on sale last month.

Now for those who aren’t that enthusiastic on spending a lot of money for designer smart glasses, the company’s Titanium collection will also be offered on the same day which should cost a lot less than the DVF collection.
