Google Duo is rolling out a low light mode this week
Google’s video chat app Google Duo is getting an update this week that will bring light adjustment features for better quality video calls.
Low light situations can be a disaster for video, even if they’re a common occurrence in the home. For lower quality cameras, a single ceiling bulb won’t provide enough light for a quality video call.
Enter Google with a new software solution. The new version of Duo will enhance low light video and automatically adjust the image when it detects suboptimal lighting conditions.
The new low light mode can be switched on or off during a call. Just toggle the mode if you’re calling from a dark room and the app will take care of the rest.
Low light mode is rolling out globally to Google Duo on both Android and iOS this week.
