Google has now scheduled a developer conference for Project Ara on April 15 and 16. The event will be held near Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California and will be streamed online for the rest of the world to see.

Google said it plans to release an alpha version of Project Ara’s Module Developer’s Kit (MDK), which will be available online as a free and open platform specification reference that should guide developers through building stuff for Project Ara.

There’s no word yet on details regarding the development of Project Ara but we’ll update everyone once more details come in, especially during the developer conference in April.
