Germany set to launch maglev rail system

The magnetic levitation service or maglev for short uses electric powered magnets enabling the trains to float above the tracks giving much faster speed than currently on offer.

Germany will soon become the second nation to launch a new type of train system.

The magnetic levitation service or maglev for short uses electric powered magnets enabling the trains to float above the tracks giving much faster speed than currently on offer.

The only current maglev train network in operation is in China where it provides quick and efficient service between the airport in Shanghai and the city’s financial district.
