Reports from Android fan site AndroidGeeks suggest that Samsung’s Galaxy Note III might make its debut on September 4, at a special Unpacked event that will take place in Berlin, just a few days before IFA 2013.

The Galaxy Note III release date rumours are actually in line with the company’s tradition when it comes to its Galaxy Note smartphones. The first Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note II were actually unveiled during IFA 2011 and 2012 respectively so it’s not that surprising that the Korean manufacturer would want to announce the Note III at the same event.

As for the specs, The Galaxy Note III is expected to have an even bigger screen measuring somewhere beyond the 5.7-inch mark. Rumours also suggest that the Samsung phablet will run either on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip or the company’s own Octa eight-core chip.

Other features expected of the Note III include a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM, and even a new body that has more edges than its predecessor but has less bezel, and of course one thing that won’t be missing with this device will be its S-Pen.
