Fujitsu unveils its first Ultrabook the UH90 which the company claims as the world’s thinnest at just 15.5mm (0.61 inches). But aside from its thin profile, the most interesting feature of the UH90 is its display which is a 14-inch Sharp IGZO touchscreen panel that has a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels with a pixel density of 262 pixels per inch.

The UH90 sports a Haswell-based, 1.6GHz Core i5-4200U processor which can be overclocked to 2.6GHz using Intel’s turbo boost feature as well as a 500GB hybrid drive. The Ultrabook also features an Intel Graphics 4400 integrated GPU, dual USB 3.0 ports, a 4K-capable HDMI port, an SD card reader, mini Display Port, an Ethernet port an Fujitsu’s fingerprint scanner.

The notebook is constructed from brushed aluminium with a composite lid which according to Fujitsu follows an omnidirectional design which resembles the solid feel of a strong plank which the company claims is tough enough to withstand a weight of around 200kg.

According to Fujitsu, the UH90 will be available starting in Japan on 28th June with a suggested retail price of 190,000 yen or a little less than $2,000.
