FreeviewPlus, the Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV) upgrade to Australia's free-to-air television has launched today. The service seamlessly integrates broadcast and catch-up TV into a single, easy to use platform.
The heart of FreeviewPlus is a broadband-delivered free-to-air electronic programming guide, allowing users to browse and set reminders for programs up to seven days ahead. In addition, FreeviewPlus aggregates catch-up services such as iView, JumpIn and SBS On Demand and makes them accessible through a single interface.
The following televisions are currently compatible with FreeviewPlus:

No FreeviewPlus compatible set-top boxes are currently available, but Freeview announced that that Sony and LG will be among the first to release receivers.
