Fitbit to release three new fitness trackers before the end of the year

Fitbit will announce three new high-end fitness trackers in the coming weeks, according to leaked marketing materials. The Verge this morning shared an unreleased advertisement for the Fitbit Surge, an unannounced "fitness superwatch". The Surge, set to be priced at USD$249, will be Fitbit's flagship wearable, and include new features such as GPS tracking, heart-rate monitoring and real time workout data.

The Surge will also have basic smartwatch functionality, including the ability to receive notifications and control music playback. As with the Fitbit Flex, the company's current high-end fitness tracker, the Surge will be able to track sleep and act as a silent alarm.
