Far Cry to make a jump into cinemas

Making big news in the game world, Far Cry, is making the jump into cinemas. Though not recent news the latest attraction to the story is that the director, Uwe Boll, is auctioning off a part in the movie.

It’s been big news in the game world that Far Cry, one of my personal favourite PC games, is making the jump into cinemas. The main misconception is that this is a new announcement, when it was actually announced along time ago! However, the main new attraction to the story is that the director, and widely believed ‘butcher’ of any great video game IP’s, Uwe Boll is auctioning off a part in the movie. I am sure Uwe felt this would be the biggest thing since the cheese sandwich was auctioned on Ebay, (check the link to see how it is going) however it does not look so far like the demand is
strong for some gamer fan to visit the set and be part of the movie as an extra.

Personally, I’ve seen Blood Rayne and I liked it. Sure it was a lame story, with somewhat lame acting but it was an easy movie to watch while I was feeling brain dead on a Saturday afternoon. I am sure that Far Cry will be panned by the critics too, however who listens to critics? Not me, but let me throw this one to you – will you go see Far Cry when it comes out next year? Vote in our poll.
