Fancy Fridays: Cool iPhone Cases

The iPhone is probably one of the most popular smartphones today. In fact, since the release of the first version of the iPhone back in 2007, the phone has already sold over 250 million units worldwide, 270,000 of which were sold in its first two days. The phone also took the honour of getting the most web traffic share worldwide compared to other mobile phone manufacturers based on the report of web-analytics company StatCounter.
However, in recent years, the change in the design of the iPhone, specifically in recent versions of the device which includes the iPhone 4, 4S and 5, has created a challenge for its owners. The problem comes from the glass panels at the front and back of the phone which cracks easily if you drop the phone especially at a certain angle. And although Apple has addressed this issue and has made a few improvements over time, the tried and tested approach of putting a protective case on your iPhone still seems to be the most practical choice.
And these days, iPhone cases are found in a multitude of design and form factors. There are cases that have built-in power banks that charge your phone on the fly, cases made from premium materials such as wood, aluminium and leather; and there are even protective cases that can act as wallets that store money and credit cards.
So in today’s edition of Fancy Fridays, let’s take a look at some examples of cool and artsy iPhone cases designs that will certainly give your phone more character not to mention some attention whenever you use your phone in public.
