Facebook have released an iPad optimised version of their Messenger app. The app features a two column layout similar to that found in the iPad version of iMessage, showing users a list of message threads as well as their current conversation at the same time.

The newly released update features almost the entirely same feature-set as the iPhone version, allowing users to message friends, call, send stickers and start group chats. It is however missing tap-and-hold video recordings, a feature added in the April update to Facebook Messenger.

There is currently no news of an Android version of the application.
