Nintendo has a planned Nintendo Direct conference solely for European gamers this Thursday, September 13 with the gaming company’s Europe president Satoru Shibata expected to reveal the details for the upcoming Wii U console.

For gamers worldwide, there are few unanswered questions about pricing and line-up of Wii console will be announced.

This special Wii U European preview, alongside a similar event that will be held in New York with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime taking the stage, comes expected with the game console's global debut this holiday season.

The company is yet to provide details about Wii U GamePad, which Nintendo describes as “a controller with a 6.2-inch touch screen that redefines how people interact with their games, their entertainment and one another.”

Last year, the company unwrapped in New York and Amsterdam the price and release date for the Nintendo 3DS.

For Australasians, Nintendo said that specific information will be made available after the live streaming of the event at the Nintendo website beginning 3 p.m. UK time.
