Dell Opens Up Australia To Alienware Arena

Alienware Arena, Dell's community site for PC gaming and technology enthusiasts, today announced its expansion into Australia.

Australia joins 10 other countries across North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America where the Alienware Arena community provides gamers the opportunity to connect with the other gamers across the globe; meet and compete either online or at special events;and stay up-to-date on the latest game releases. Team tournaments also run head-to-head for opportunities to win cash or high-performance Alienware gear.

Alienware Arena has over 1.3 million gamer members globally that have participated in a range of offerings through Arena such as tournaments, sweepstakes, creative contests, game code giveaways, and LAN events since July 2009.

Alienware will continue to roll out its Australia-wide tour of its Alienware: Area 52 mobile gaming hub. The Alienware Area-52 Tour involves pop-up PC gaming events that will engage the public and test their gaming skills on the latest Alienware machines, claims Dell.
