LG announced yesterday that the flexible OLED displays for its curved smartphones are already in mass production. Today, it’s Samsung’s turn to get a bite of the curved phone hype as popular leakster @evleaks shows off a curved Samsung Android phone potentially joining the Korean tech giant’s Galaxy line.

Based on the leaked photo, the phone will have the same faux leather back as the Galaxy Note 3 as well as LTE-Advanced obviously from the branding on its back. Interestingly, the alleged Samsung curved phone differs from that of LG in the sense that it bends inward at its vertical axis.

The design pretty much matches the company’s recent patent applications. The device is said to be model SM-G910S and is allegedly intended for the Korean market. No additional information with regards to the specs of the device were given, but if we are to believe Samsung’s earlier statement, it’s only a matter of time before we get an official word from Samsung about this device.

UPDATE:

SK Telecom just announced the Galaxy Round a few hours ago and will be available as early as tomorrow. The phone will feature a 5.7-inch OLED display, an LTE-A radio, a 2800mAh battery and weighs only 154g. The phone is said to cost around 1million won or around $1000.
