Cheap Galaxy Tabs From Samsung

Samsung has released its new range of Galaxy Tab 3 devices – from a 7-inch device to an update of its popular 10.1-inch unit – at price points that are bound to make competitors take notice.

Samsung has released its new range of Galaxy Tab 3 devices – from a 7-inch device to an update of its popular 10.1-inch unit – at price points that are bound to make competitors take notice.

 

The 10.1-inch variant is designed as an entertainment hub and will retail for $399; the 8-inch iteration is for video, games and reading books and will set consumers back $349; while the 7-inch device will cost $249. They all come with 2 year warranty.

 

As expected, all are wifi enabled, utilise the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and have front and rear cameras. The 10.1- and 8-inch devices offer 16GBof memory that is expandable with a 64GB microSD card, while the 7-inch has 8GB of memory expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card.

 

According to Samsung the 8-inch device is “for viewing videos, playing games, and reading e-Books. Samsung’s “Reading Mode” technology adapts the device display to provide optimised illumination and tone when activated – minimising eye strain to deliver a comfortable reading experience.”

 

Samsung has also incorporated some of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone features into the 8-inch Tab 3 including S Translator, allowing you to translate up to 10 different languages, and Trip Advisor, the smart travel companion, offering real-time and relevant local information based on the geographic movements of the user.

 

Samsung says the 10.1-inch version “combines sleek design with outstanding multimedia capabilities for home and family use. Featuring access to a world of content from Samsung Learning Hub, Game Hub, Reader’s Hub and Music Hub, along with TV shows and movies through Quickflix, the Tab 3 is a versatile tool for people of all ages.”

 

Finally, the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch that comes “with a compact display that weighs 300 grams…designed for portable, everyday internet use. Boasting a sleek design with a one-hand grip form factor, users can easily store it in their pocket or purse for reading and entertainment on the go. The device has a thinner bezel than the previous Galaxy Tab 2 (7”).
