CES 2015: Sony’s new TV is thinner than your smartphone
Sony today introduced its Bravia X9000C series 4K TV, the world's thinnest 4K LCD TV. Measuring in at just 5 millimetres, the X900C is thinner than the vast majority of available smartphones.
The X9000C is powered by Sony's new X1 processor, a new chipset that enhances the brightness, contrast, clarity, colour gamut and dynamic range of content played back through the TV.
As with all 2015 new release Sony Bravia TVs, the X9000C will run Google's Android TV operating system. Sony will also showcase 10 other TVs at CES 2015, including the X9300C series, the first TV to support Hi-Res audio.
Sony has yet to confirm pricing for the X9000, X9300 or any other TVs in its 2015 line-up.
