CES 2015: GasWatch keeps an eye on the BBQ tank

GasWatch today announced an app-enabled version of its propane barbeque tank level indicator. The monitor uses a scale to calculate the volume of gas remaining based on the canister's weigh and then displays it on the app. In addition to providing a current level, the GasWatch app provides push notifications at 30%, 20% and 10%.

The app-enabled GasWatch will be made available through a crowd-funding campaign set to take place around March or April, and cost around USD$25.
