CES 2015: Elio is a USD$6800 car that does 36km per litre

Elio, manufactured by Elio Motors, is a USD$6800 car with three wheels, two seats and a fuel efficiency of 36km per litre (approximately 2.5 litres per 100 kilometres). An even more impressive fact is that over 38,000 people have already put down money on an Elio pre-order, according to Chip Stempeck, Elio Motors' Vice President of Customer Experience.
