The AFP officers’ discovered hundreds of fake pay TV smart cards and set top boxes after executing 10 search warrants across the Eastern seaboard.

Two men, a 45 year old from Mount Waverley and a 27 year old from Sebastopol were charged by police with making, distributing and selling the pirate cards. $169,000 in cash was also seized during the raid, along with several computers and incongruously, 18 boxes of fireworks…

If convicted the men could face up to five years in prison.
