ViewSonic is offering up a new LED display that is 6.8 mm at its thinnest point, and is claimed to be one of the slimmest budget monitor offerings on the market.
The VX2460h-LED is clad in black and silver and has touch sensitive keys for on-screen display setting adjustments and features connectivity with dual HDMI ports for multiple media device connections – attach two sources to the VX2460h-LED for easy switching between devices such as a PC and gaming console. With Twisted Nematic (TN) panels, the unit maximises the two millisecond grey-to-grey response time to prevent motion blur in games and fast moving video.
From within, the unit delivers good pixel performance, powered by a full HD 1080p resolution, two millisecond video response time provided by ClearMotiv II imaging technology and ultra-high 40,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
Windows 7 certified and with an Energy Star 5.1 rating, the mercury-free screen is equipped with ViewSonic's ECO-mode feature which extends the lifetime of the display, while delivering energy savings of up to 40% when compared to a regular 24-inch monitor.
