Boost Mobile has refreshed its range of prepaid plans with higher data allowances, more consistent weekend bonuses, and shorter expiry times.
Boost's new entry level plan now costs AUD$25 per recharge (up from AUD$20). This includes 1.5GB of data, unlimited text, and 100 minutes of talk. Boost's AUD$40 recharge now includes 5GB of data, in addition to unlimited talk and text, and unlimited international calls to select countries. Boost has also introduced a new AUD$50 plan, with the same inclusions as the AUD$40 plan, but 7GB of data.
All three plans have 28 day expiries (which is quickly becoming the new industry standard for prepaid, effectively meaning customers have to recharge 13 times a year, rather than 12). Additionally, Boost customers receive 1GB of bonus data every weekend, typically resulting in an extra 4GB across a month. Bonus weekend data doesn't rollover; as such, customers lose any unused "bonus data" at the end of a weekend.
Boost Mobile's new plans are available from today. Existing customers can choose to move across to an updated offer or stick on their current plan.
