A new rumoured handset from BlackBerry just appeared in popular benchmarking site Geekbench.
According to the site’s database, the smartphone (codenamed Ontario) will have a 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB of RAM and will run the company’s upcoming BlackBerry OS 10.3.
The phone is said to be part of the Canadian smartphone maker’s O-series of smartphones and the Ontario in particular is specifically targeting the mid-range to entry-level market segment.
The company recently signed a deal with Chinese manufacturing company Foxconn to produce cheaper handsets, so that it will be able to supply a cheaper alternative to consumers.
