BlackBerry’s BBM for Android and iPhone has just reached 10 million downloads yesterday. Today, the Canadian smartphone manufacturer has just announced another downloadable goodie aimed for BlackBerry Z10, Q10 and Q5 owners.

Within the week, BlackBerry OS 10.2 will start rolling out to BlackBerry Z10, Q10 and Q5 users, while those who have the Z30 will have it out of the box. The new OS update will bring some nifty features including a new Priority Hub, BBM video with Natural Sound feature, messages preview from any app, a new keyboard, easier sharing options, lockscreen notifications, a better calendar and a reject call function with SMS/BBM option.

The update will arrive first in Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe and the Middle East first, while Latin America and North America will receive the update in November and early December respectively. Just do note that the arrival of the update will also depend if the device is carrier-locked or not. For users under a contract, you may have to wait a bit more until the carriers release the update for your devices.
